Messi SIGNS with FC Barcelona! Griezmann set to RETURN to Atletico? Saul to Barca?

The BarcaBreakdown discuss the MASSIVE news that Lionel Messi, Copa American Champion, is set to return with a wage cut of up to 50%! Due to our large wage bill, Laporta/Barca are looking to send Antoine Griezmann BACK to Atletico in return for Saul.

 

We discuss how big it is that Messi returns, as Manchester City and PSG were both reportedly looking to get Messi back. Thankfully, Messi stayed with his childhood club and Laporta, who he most definitely prefers to Bartomeu.

 

Unfortunately, though Griezmann never won enough trophies to justify his transfer fee/wage bill, it is very sad to see Barca forced to return him. Players like Coutinho, Umtiti, Sergi Roberto are taking up massive wages and have little transfer value. We are able to get Saul from Atletico, so it is good to see us get some return for Griezmann. However, we fear we will regret sending Griezmann away like we did with Suarez last season.
